Privacy policy

Last updated: 1 October 2026

DZYN Furnitures respects your privacy and values the trust you place in us. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit dzynfurnitures.com, contact us or buy from us, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to run our business and serve you. We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.

1. Who we are

dzynfurnitures.com is owned and operated by Kusum Relan & Co., a proprietorship firm trading as DZYN Furnitures ("DZYN Furnitures", "we", "us", "our"). We make solid teak pooja mandirs and furniture in our own factory in Sonipat, Haryana, and sell direct to customers in India and abroad. We decide why and how your personal data is used, and we are responsible for it.

  • Address: 62/1/2/2 2-9, 62/2/2 4-16, Jagdishpur Road, Harsana Kalan, Sonipat, Haryana 131001, India
  • Email: info@dzynfurnitures.com
  • WhatsApp or call: +91 90347 56696 (Monday to Saturday, 11 am to 5 pm IST, except public holidays)
  • Privacy questions and complaints: Grievance Officer, DZYN Furnitures, at the address, email and phone number above

2. What this policy covers

This policy applies to personal data we handle through the website, our checkout, our forms, email, phone calls, WhatsApp and video consultations, and when we deliver and service your order. It does not cover other websites or apps that we link to; they have their own privacy policies.

3. The personal data we collect

3.1 Information you give us

  • Contact and account details: your name, email address, phone number, delivery and billing addresses and, if you create an account, your login details. Your account password is stored in protected form by our store platform; our team cannot see it.
  • Order details: the products you order, sizes and custom specifications, prices, dates, invoices, delivery instructions, and your order and transaction history. If you ask for a GST invoice, your GSTIN and business name.
  • International orders: details needed for export and customs paperwork, such as the consignee's name and address, tax or importer ID, and any identity document that the carrier or customs authority requires.
  • Forms on the website: what you enter in the contact form, the video-consultation request form (name, phone or WhatsApp number, email, country, preferred date and time, time zone, Google Meet or WhatsApp video, the product you are interested in and your message), the international quote form, the warranty claim form, the return or cancellation request form, bulk and trade enquiry forms, and the newsletter sign-up.
  • Messages and calls: emails, WhatsApp chats and phone calls with our team, including your phone number, WhatsApp profile name and any photographs, videos, wall measurements, voice notes and documents you send us. Calls with our team may be recorded so that we have an accurate record of what was discussed and for staff training.
  • Returns and claims: photographs and videos of the packaging and product, and details of the issue.
  • Reviews and surveys: the reviews, ratings, photographs and videos you choose to submit, and your answers to any optional survey, which may include demographic information and product preferences.

3.2 Payment information

Your card number, expiry date, CVV, UPI ID, net-banking and other payment credentials are entered with and processed by the payment gateway or bank. DZYN Furnitures does not receive or store your card number or CVV. We receive only the result of the payment — amount, method, status and a transaction reference — and any refund details.

3.3 Information collected automatically

  • Device and log data: IP address (from which your approximate location, such as country and city, can be worked out), browser type and language, operating system, device type, and the date and time of your visit.
  • How you use the site: the pages and products you view, searches on the site, what you add to the cart, checkout steps, the page or advertisement that brought you to us, and campaign tags in the link you followed.
  • Cookies and similar storage: see section 9.
  • Checkout that is not completed: if you enter your phone number or email at checkout but do not finish the order, we receive those details and the cart contents, and may contact you to help you complete the order.
  • WhatsApp buttons: when you tap a WhatsApp button on the site, the message that opens includes the page you were on and a short reference code. The code lets our team link your chat to a summary of your visit (such as the products and pages you viewed, items added to the cart and how you reached the site), so that we know what you are asking about without making you repeat it. Once you have contacted us this way, your later activity on the site in the same browser is added to that summary.

3.4 Information from others

  • Courier and logistics partners: delivery status, proof of delivery and delivery remarks.
  • Payment gateways and banks: payment status and fraud-check results.
  • Our checkout provider: the contact and address details you confirmed at checkout.

We make such transfers only as permitted by Indian law, and we use providers that commit to protecting personal data.

  • Access to customer data is limited to team members and service providers who need it for their work.
  • No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If a personal data breach affecting you occurs, we will inform you and the authorities as the law requires.
  • Please help us: keep your account password private, and never share a card PIN, CVV or OTP with anyone claiming to be from DZYN Furnitures. We will never ask for them.

9. Cookies and similar technologies

A cookie is a small piece of data that a website stores in your browser so that it can remember things — such as what is in your cart, that you are logged in, or which pages you have viewed. We and our providers use cookies and similar browser storage for these purposes:

Our own visit record (the pages and products you viewed and how you reached the site) is kept in your browser's storage and identified by a first-party cookie that lasts up to about 13 months. Nothing from it is sent to our customer-service system unless you contact us through a WhatsApp button on the site; after that, it is kept up to date as described in section 3.3.

Your choices: you can set your browser to block or delete cookies, or to warn you before a cookie is stored. Essential cookies are needed for the cart and checkout to work. Where a cookie banner is shown in your region, we follow the choice you make there. You can control advertising personalisation by Google in your Google account's ad settings.

10. Marketing messages

If you have subscribed to our newsletter or agreed to receive offers, we may send you news of new designs, offers and information about products you have bought. You can stop these at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the email, telling us on WhatsApp, or writing to info@dzynfurnitures.com. Messages about an order you have placed are not marketing and will continue to be sent.

11. Your rights

  • Erasure: ask us to erase data that is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected for, unless we must keep it by law;

  • We acknowledge requests within 48 hours and aim to complete them within one month. There is no charge.
  • If you are not satisfied with our reply, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India, once it is taking complaints, after first raising the matter with us.

11.3 Visitors from the EU, the UK and the United States

  • EU and UK: in addition to the rights above, you may ask us to restrict or object to certain uses of your data, ask for a copy of data you gave us in a portable format, and complain to the data protection authority in your country (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office). The "Basis" column in section 4 shows the legal ground we rely on for each purpose.
  • United States: we do not sell personal information. Depending on your state, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to opt out of the use of your data for targeted advertising. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.
  • To use any of these rights, contact us as described in section 11.2.

12. Reviews and other public content

Reviews, ratings, photographs, videos and testimonials that you submit for publication are shown publicly on the website with the name you provide. Please do not include personal details in them that you do not want others to see. We may republish a review or testimonial you submit, as described in our Terms of Service. You can ask us to remove your review at any time.
