Devayan Pooja Mandir

The Devayan Pooja Mandir with Doors in teak color is crafted from teakwood with a tall, enclosed form that combines detailed devotional carving with practical storage. Its two front doors are the main visual feature, with carved deity motifs positioned above lotus forms and traditional kalash designs, all arranged within shaped temple-style borders. The doors are finished with small round knobs for convenient opening. On either side, turned wooden supports feature elongated leaf-shaped carving and layered detailing that add definition to the front without making the structure appear overly ornate. The upper section rises into a prominent multi-level shikhar with repeated carved bands, sloping edges and several decorative finials placed across different levels. Below the worship section are two separate drawers, each finished with symmetrical floral and scrolling carvings and individual knobs, providing dedicated space for keeping pooja essentials organized. Fine patterned borders run along the drawer section and lower edges, while rounded carved feet raise the mandir slightly from the floor. The teak color brings out the natural wood grain and gives the carvings, moulded edges, door artwork and stepped shikhar a warm, unified appearance.

Gently dust your teak furniture with a soft, dry cloth each week. Wipe it very lightly with a barely-damp cloth when needed and dry immediately. A thin coat of bees-wax or teak-oil polish twice a year will replenish the wood's natural oils. Keep the unit away from standing water, harsh chemicals and prolonged direct sunlight to preserve its colour and prevent warping.
