Gently dust your teak furniture with a soft, dry cloth each week. Wipe it very lightly with a barely-damp cloth when needed and dry immediately. A thin coat of bees-wax or teak-oil polish twice a year will replenish the wood's natural oils. Keep the unit away from standing water, harsh chemicals and prolonged direct sunlight to preserve its colour and prevent warping.

Timeless Spiritual Symbols
This divine Mandap is furnished with spiritual symbols showcasing its importance. The crown is a symbolic connection between earth and heaven and is known as the place where the divine resides. The Om symbol is at the top of the Mandap. It is the center of the universe. The sun rays around it show how our souls are connected to God, like what the Upanishads say. The Om sign is followed by swans which are considered to be the symbol of soul and good luck in our Vedas. A pair of elephants symbolize luck and prosperity. Carving of the Lotus symbolizes purity, enlightenment and rebirth. Designs of a bell are carved on the doors and is said to be the spiritual seat of God and goddess in Hinduism.
Wooden Temple with Ample Storage
The most notable feature of this wooden home temple is its storage solutions. Apart from the main garbhagriha, the Mandap cabinets give you the freedom to establish the temporary pooja setups within the cabinet for the deity, during festivals like Navratri and Ganesh Chaturthi. The Mandap has raised platforms for idols which align with the Vastu tip. The additional cabinet and drawers can be used as a multi-purpose furniture in small apartments. The main Mandap has enough storage to keep multiple deities in one place which is common in Hindu households. The pull-up drawers and the doors of the cabinet are secured with fancy diamond-shaped door knobs.

The features of Indo-Aryan architecture, such as the Shikhara and arches have been included in this home temple. The Intricate Jali pattern on both sides of this wooden temple and on the front of the door allows light and air to enter and maintain passive ventilation. Floral motifs are beautifully carved on the temple. These floral designs can be traced back to ancient times. Ornate pillars that are decorated with gold paint, provide both structural support and aesthetic appeal to the temple. Our Divine Palace Large Mandap has a huge garbhagriha and you can set multiple idols at one time. Because of that, proper ventilation is needed to protect the idols and the inner side of the temples against humidity. Here our beautifully carved intricate jali designs play an important role. These jali designs allow the inflow of air and light and maintain the convenient ventilation. The history of these jali patterns can be traced back to our ancient times for natural ventilation. These jali patterns are both functional and provide a mesmerizing shadow from light that makes the whole pooja space look mystic and spiritual.

A 2 to 3 ft wall or table mandir suits most apartment prayer corners. 4 ft and above wants a dedicated wall, so measure the alcove before you choose.
We carve only in seasoned solid Burma teak. It holds fine carving detail without chipping and stays true across Indian summers and monsoons.
Doors keep dust off the idols and suit kitchens and living rooms. An open sanctum suits a dedicated pooja room where the deities stay visible.
The north-east corner is traditionally preferred, with the deities facing west so you face east while praying.
Drawers hold wicks and daily items; a lower almirah takes the pooja box, spare oil and festival pieces. Most families find one drawer too few.
Dust with a soft dry cloth and re-oil once a year with ordinary teak oil. Keep camphor and burning wicks off the timber itself.
