Why this 6 Feet Pooja Mandir for Home

Carved To The Last Detail.

White Design With Golden Contrast

This big size wooden temple displays a sense of peace and grandeur due to its white color and clean finish. The distinct floral carvings on the front panels and sides, with additional golden color make it more attractive and eye-catching. The white finish of the crown and decorative pillars gives it the appearance of a large mandir for home, making it compatible with any interior decoration. This large wooden temple adds dignity and elegance to the worship space with the multiple golden spires, the tiered shikhara and the openness. The carved golden borders at the edges, the bells and Om symbol highlighted in white at the back of the altar space, the small carved multiple arches and small golden bells at the top - all display traditional craftsmanship.

Traditional Pillar Decorations

The carvings on the pillars of this big home temple also reflect the traditional style. These pillars are square in structure, giving adequate space to create complex vertical designs. The golden and white combination on the pillars and edges gives the temple a grand and elegant look. It shows a nice mix of traditional and modern design. The pillars give strong support to the layered shikhara at the top. The even design and the two railings on both sides of the pillars make the temple look unique and traditional. The pillars in this big home temple are square in shape which balances the designs of the altar space and the top perfectly.

Mandap Roof and Shikhara Design

The upper crown and decorative edges of the tiered shikhara give it a temple-like feel. It makes it visually appealing as a large pooja mandir. The design of the crown and the roof make it iconic as a large temple for home, which will also enhance the grandeur of your puja space. The white colored base and the golden brims of the edges of each tier, as well as the wide platform under the shikhara balance perfectly with the multiple golden spires at the top of the roof. The rising and gradually shortening design of the roof of the large pooja mandir also adds to the height. The minimalist design and carvings on the roof keep things simple yet attractive in this large mandir for home.

Lower Drawers and Storage

The drawers on the bottom of this large mandir for home allow for organized storage of puja materials. This increases the functionality of the large temple for home. The drawers have simple golden oval carvings that match well with the full design of the mandir. The golden color on the carvings stands out beautifully against the white background of this large wooden temple for home. The drawers are deep and large enough to store all your daily puja essentials safely. The large and wide platform of this big home temple, just above the two drawers, makes it easy to arrange all puja items.

The designs on the upper portion and the decorated drawers and designed trims on the lower portion make this large pooja mandir a significant centrepiece in the home, both spiritually and visually.

A 2 to 3 ft wall or table mandir suits most apartment prayer corners. 4 ft and above wants a dedicated wall, so measure the alcove before you choose.

We carve only in seasoned solid Burma teak. It holds fine carving detail without chipping and stays true across Indian summers and monsoons.

Doors keep dust off the idols and suit kitchens and living rooms. An open sanctum suits a dedicated pooja room where the deities stay visible.

The north-east corner is traditionally preferred, with the deities facing west so you face east while praying.

Drawers hold wicks and daily items; a lower almirah takes the pooja box, spare oil and festival pieces. Most families find one drawer too few.

Dust with a soft dry cloth and re-oil once a year with ordinary teak oil. Keep camphor and burning wicks off the timber itself.
