This Kaveri teak wood mandap in teak color is a big pooja mandir crafted with traditional temple detailing and a grand presence. The top features a beautifully carved shikhara with a layered dome pattern and small turned finials that enhance its temple look. The front has a deeply carved arch with floral designs, supported by ornate pillars that rest on elephant-shaped carvings on both sides of the pooja area. The two doors feature several carvings of the deities with floral edges that form a holy point. The jali design of the side panels is very fine with carvings of peacocks, which brings lightness and richness to the structure. At the bottom, there are two carved drawers that create space where pooja items can be stored, and the apron and short curved legs finish the bottom and create balance and beauty. The carving, whether of the top finials, or the bottom borders, is precise and deep, and displays high art. The polish reflects the natural teak color and this gives warmth and light to this home temple.
