A teakwood dining chair is the true symbol of style and sophistication. The dining chair design along with the premium quality of teakwood make the wooden chair for dining table a worthy piece of furniture to invest in. Built intricately and thoughtfully by the best craftsmen, the resilient properties of teakwood make it suitable for daily use and also increase the life of the chair.
A few dining chairs come with a wide and strategically angled backrest, such as our Oakra teakwood dining chair. This provides support to your spine and offers a wonderful experience while spending hours sitting on it.
Crafted by skilled artisans, a teakwood dining chair will add more sophistication to the decoration of the dining space of a traditional or modern home with its unique features. The natural smooth finish of the dining chair displays the elegance of teakwood with its characteristic grains highlighted clearly.
A Worthy Investment
The durability and elegance of a teakwood dining chair are unmatched. Whether you have a large traditional home or a small and compact modern apartment, a teakwood dining chair is suitable to use for every home. The premium quality of our teakwood dining chair will offer maximum functionality and sophistication yet the beauty and appeal will not fade over time which makes these wooden dining chairs a worthy investment. It is truly a combination of grace and strength.
Reasons to Use Teakwood Dining Chairs
Teakwood is one of the most preferred materials to make wooden dining chairs. Typically, it is due to the natural properties of premium quality teakwood that make it so popular.
- Excellent Durability: The Teakwood dining chair offers excellent durability and value. The high concentration of natural oils in it makes it naturally resistant to pets, moisture, and wear and tear due to everyday use. It will last for generations to come and enhance the natural elegance as well.
- Maintenance Requirements: A teakwood dining chair will need little maintenance. Once again, the higher concentration of natural oil will help retain its shine and sheen naturally. Apart from regular wiping with a soft cloth, you will not need to polish it regularly with expensive wood oil, thereby saving you time, money, and hassles that make it a cost-effective investment.
- Natural Elegance: The natural color of teakwood, which is further enhanced by the natural teakwood color and finish, as is in our Oakra teakwood dining chair, will highlight the unique pattern of the grains of teakwood. This makes every teakwood dining chair in our collection exceptionally stunning to look at.
With all these qualities of the wood preserved and enhanced in our teakwood dining chairs by our expert artisans, they stand out in both aesthetics and construction, adding a touch of class to the interior decoration of any dining room.
Design of Dining Chairs: Its Significance and Selection Tips
The dining chair design plays a significant role in determining its functionality and comfort level apart from its appearance. As you will find in our Oakra teakwood dining chair, the dining chair design should be ergonomic and precise.
Ideally, when you select a dining chair, you must look into the following aspects to gain maximum return on your investment:
- Comfort Level: The dining chair design must be practical and user-friendly to offer maximum comfort. The seat should be large enough to accommodate anyone on it and the backrest should offer proper support to your spine and your posture. Selecting a teakwood dining chair with a precisely curved backrest just like our Oakra teakwood dining chair is recommended.
- Versatility: Select a versatile dining chair for your home with a minimalist design like our Oakra teakwood dining chair. The clean lines and edges of the dining chair will make it look more elegant. You can use it in both traditional or contemporary homes.
- The Seat: The seat of the dining chair plays an important role in the comfort level, just as the backrest. It should be big enough to accommodate an average or an oversized person. In simple words, a teakwood dining chair must be designed to give you maximum comfort offering the right support to the posture and the spine.
- Design and Style: Lastly, look at the design and style of the teakwood dining chair. It must look like stylish dining chairs so that it adds to the visual appeal of the surrounding space regardless of its simplicity or elaborate design.
- Size: The size of the teakwood dining chair must be just right. Therefore, select a chair that is proportionate to the size of the dining table, if you are not buying a dining table chairs’ set. You should also consider the dimension of the space so that there is enough room for others to move around while you are seated on it or to pull it out without bumping into the walls. You must also take your needs and preferences into account while choosing a teakwood dining chair.
Tips to Maintain Teakwood Dining Chairs
You must put some time and effort into the maintenance of the teakwood dining chair, even though teakwood itself needs little maintenance.
Regular Cleaning Tips:
Dust the teakwood dining chair with a soft and dry cotton cloth. This will keep dust and dirt from building up on the surface which shows the natural grain pattern. Do not worry about polishing the surface frequently because top-quality teakwood will stain naturally over time and improve the visual appeal of the dining chairs even further.
Deep Cleaning Tips:
If you want a deep-clean, wipe the surface of the teakwood dining chair occasionally with mild soap solution, after you have completed wiping the surface of the dining chair. When done, make sure you dry the surface immediately. This will prevent any water stains from developing on the surface of the dining chairs and spoil their treasured look.
Pro tip: Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive scrubbers for deep cleaning the teakwood dining chair. It will result in scratches and degrade the finish and surface.
Shine Maintenance Tips:
To maintain the shine of the teakwood dining chair, polish it periodically with good-quality and branded wood oil or teak oil. This will highlight the unique pattern of the natural grains of the wood. Periodic polishing of the wooden chair for the dining table will also prevent the natural oils from drying. It will enhance its life even further and prevent the wood from cracking.
Pro tip: Apply the teak oil evenly on the surface using a soft cotton cloth. Polish it along the wood grains. Do not use it until it dries completely.
Additional Care Tips:
To prevent damage to the teakwood dining chair due to accidental spills on the seat, you may use cushions. It will also prevent it from developing stains or scratches.
Do not drag the dining chairs on the floor. This will cause stress on the legs and the joints.
Though not mandatory for stylish dining chairs, if you want to cover the dining chairs, make sure the covers are made from breathable materials. This will prevent condensation and damage to the teakwood dining chair allowing proper ventilation.
All these tips will ensure that your teakwood dining chair retains its shine, beauty, and value for years to come and stays functional for generations.
Comparing Teakwood and Other Dining Chairs
Teakwood vs. Plastic Dining Chairs:
A teakwood dining chair will stand to the test of time and display its elegance for generations to come. The unique pattern of the natural grains and the smooth finish will add to the sophistication of your dining space. The teakwood dining chair will look more graceful with age. Ideally, sourced responsibly, teakwood is a renewable and sustainable resource and does not add to environmental pollution.
In comparison, plastic dining chairs are affordable and lightweight but can never match the style and warmth of a teakwood dining chair. Moreover, it is not as durable as a teakwood dining chair and might break or crack due to rough handling. It will also fade over time, unlike a teakwood dining chair. Most importantly, plastic dining chairs are less eco-friendly.
Teakwood vs. Metal Dining Chairs:
With the features of teakwood dining chair being the same as above, metal dining chairs, on the other hand, do come close to it in durability and design perspectives but can rust over time. Metal dining chairs typically need higher maintenance and care compared to wooden dining chairs. Usually less inviting than a teakwood dining chair, metal dining chairs are also less environment-friendly due to high energy consumption while manufacturing.
In summary, a teakwood dining chair is a greener choice that will offer durability, style, functionality, and sustainability, thereby making it more valuable than any other material.
To wrap up, a teakwood dining chair is not just a piece of furniture. It is a valuable addition to the dining space and the interior decoration. Its sophistication, durability, and classic appeal will further enhance its value which makes it a worthy investment.
The natural color, exquisite finish, and minimalist design of our teakwood dining chair collection will add an extra layer of luxury to the dining space.
