Omvara Pooja Mandir

This Omvara Teak Wood Mandir in teak color is a floor standing prayer unit with a strong and balanced structure. The full body is in teakwood which gives a solid build and supports long use. The top has a stepped shikhara style design with turned finials on the corners and a kalash shape at the center which adds height and balance. The front has double doors with deep jali carving in a diya cut pattern and the doors open smoothly to a wide inner space. The inner base is flat and wide which supports idol placement well. The back panel has a raised Om symbol on a contrasting surface which draws focus to the center. The side panels continue the jali pattern which allows light to pass and keeps the design open. The lower part has a closed storage cabinet with carved wood paneling and round knobs that will ensure that pooja items are organized. The decorative features of the borders and the pillars appear clean and smooth on the side. The mandir is supported on elevated legs that provide high floor clearance and support. The look is serene and traditional and the teak color finish befits a dedicated pooja space at home.

Gently dust your teak furniture with a soft, dry cloth each week. Wipe it very lightly with a barely-damp cloth when needed and dry immediately. A thin coat of bees-wax or teak-oil polish twice a year will replenish the wood's natural oils. Keep the unit away from standing water, harsh chemicals and prolonged direct sunlight to preserve its colour and prevent warping.
