Description
The Padmavasa teak wood mandap in brown and gold reflects the grandeur of South Indian temple architecture through its intricate carvings and symbolic elements. The top shikhara is constructed in layers, with golden details which are added one above the other to create a grandiose crown. Below this, the front arch displays rich floral patterns that spread across the upper frame and highlight the central worship space. Strong carved pillars support the structure and connect the top with the base. The backdrop features an arched golden frame with bird carvings that bring depth and tradition to the pooja mandap. Decorative elephants are placed near the base and peacock motifs are carved on the sides which give this big pooja mandir a cultural identity. The drawers at the bottom are designed with golden floral panels that provide practical storage while maintaining beauty. The golden highlights are contrasted with the brown color base and adds a depth to the appearance of all carved elements. The 6 feet pooja mandir is a blend of utility and artistry in a single graceful structure as a home temple.

Care
Gently dust your teak furniture with a soft, dry cloth each week. Wipe it very lightly with a barely-damp cloth when needed and dry immediately. A thin coat of bees-wax or teak-oil polish twice a year will replenish the wood's natural oils. Keep the unit away from standing water, harsh chemicals and prolonged direct sunlight to preserve its colour and prevent warping.
Safe packaging
Rest assured, our premium teakwood products are carefully packed with sturdy, protective packaging for a safe transit. Please check your order at delivery and note any damage on the delivery receipt with photos, so we can resolve it promptly. Your satisfaction and peace of mind are our top priorities.

About this Pooja Mandir

The 6 feet pooja mandir is a blend of utility and artistry in a single graceful structure as a home temple.
A 2 to 3 ft wall or table mandir suits most apartment prayer corners. 4 ft and above wants a dedicated wall, so measure the alcove before you choose.
We carve only in seasoned 100% teak. It holds fine carving detail without chipping and stays true across Indian summers and monsoons.
Doors keep dust off the idols and suit kitchens and living rooms. An open sanctum suits a dedicated pooja room where the deities stay visible.
The north-east corner is traditionally preferred, with the deities facing west so you face east while praying.
Drawers hold wicks and daily items; a lower almirah takes the pooja box, spare oil and festival pieces. Most families find one drawer too few.
Dust with a soft dry cloth and re-oil once a year with ordinary teak oil. Keep camphor and burning wicks off the timber itself.
