Why this Big Pooja Mandir - Above 6 Feet

Carved To The Last Detail.

Detailed Pillar Carvings

The front pillars of this temple have bold carvings with deep lines and fine shapes. These designs are inspired by South Indian temple styles and bring a touch of tradition. The shape and shadows of the pillars give the mandap a beautiful look. These pillars are not just for show—they also give strong support and a complete look. The rich brown color makes the carved lines stand out clearly. These pillars help the big mandap feel holy and traditional. Each one looks like a gateway and adds height and cultural beauty to this home temple. Their strong build also ensures the mandap stays steady and balanced for daily use.

Elevated OM Center Panel

The OM symbol is gracefully highlighted on a raised floral backdrop, forming the spiritual heart of the mandap. The lighting gently surrounds it, enhancing the visual serenity of the space. Decorative bells frame this centerpiece, creating a rhythmic layout that feels both dynamic and peaceful. The OM carving blends perfectly into the choco brown panel, standing out in both texture and tone. This area naturally draws attention during prayers. Positioned at eye level, it becomes the core focus of every ritual. It’s a defining feature that gives the big temple for home a timeless spiritual identity.

Layered Step Dome Top

The top part of this mandap has many step-like layers, each with soft carved borders that add nice detail. These flat steps look like temple gopurams and give height and beauty to the mandap. This design makes the temple look tall and grand, which is perfect for a big home mandap. It gives a strong and peaceful look from every side. There is no kalash on top, so the lines look clean and clear. The choco brown color makes the layers stand out and adds depth. The crown shape on top gives a special and holy feel to the full temple. The layered dome also adds balance to the full structure and matches well with the lower design.

Extended Platform Space

This temple provides a wide surface area that can easily hold large idols, traditional lamps, and decorative pooja accessories. The flat platform has a lustrous finish that reflects light and highlights sacred elements beautifully. Framed side edges help contain items and add safety. The size supports elaborate pooja setups without feeling cramped. Whether for daily rituals or special occasions, this area provides the space needed for thoughtful arrangements. The choco brown base balances richness and calmness. Ideal for homes seeking a big temple for home, this platform offers utility without compromising on aesthetics.

A 2 to 3 ft wall or table mandir suits most apartment prayer corners. 4 ft and above wants a dedicated wall, so measure the alcove before you choose.

We carve only in seasoned solid Burma teak. It holds fine carving detail without chipping and stays true across Indian summers and monsoons.

Doors keep dust off the idols and suit kitchens and living rooms. An open sanctum suits a dedicated pooja room where the deities stay visible.

The north-east corner is traditionally preferred, with the deities facing west so you face east while praying.

Drawers hold wicks and daily items; a lower almirah takes the pooja box, spare oil and festival pieces. Most families find one drawer too few.

Dust with a soft dry cloth and re-oil once a year with ordinary teak oil. Keep camphor and burning wicks off the timber itself.
