Srikalahasti Pooja Mandap

The Srikalahasti Teak Wood Mandap shows its temple design through its balanced height which supports its well proportioning floor structure in its cherry color. The entire structure maintains a vertical position which establishes a secure and dignified appearance for the mandap. The top section features a stepped crown design which ascends through distinct levels to create a strong upward visual effect. The design uses subtle carved borders which begin at the crown base and extend across the front edges to create a complete framing system. The side frames have a matching thickness which creates a visual balance between both frames while strengthening their overall design. The front opening establishes a wide and clean passage which allows visitors to see and enter the inner shrine area without obstruction. The back panel of the mandap remains plain because its design needs to focus on the arrangement and placement of objects. The platform provides a wide and flat surface which facilitates organized activities throughout its usage. The structure maintains its organized appearance because its lower base section remains closed and properly aligned. The bottom skirting details provide precise design elements which enhance visual interest while maintaining a neat appearance. The surface displays natural teakwood grain patterns which showcase the highquality construction of the teakwood material. The second use of cherry color in this mandap creates a complete traditional appearance which enhances its overall aesthetic value.
