Why this Devghar Design

Carved To The Last Detail.

Detailed Carved Roof

The roof of the Subhaga Mandir is well carved and it gives the entire temple a magnificent appearance. The paneled design with the layers provides the depth and demonstrates the abilities of the traditional woodwork. The rounded slopes and the top finish is in the style of the ancient Indian temples and gives the mandir a beautiful form. The roof made of teak color appears rich and remains shiny and strong over the years. When light falls on the carvings, soft shadows appear and make the pooja space look peaceful and divine. The careful handwork shows true devotion and art. This roof adds both strength and beauty to the mandir and makes it the main highlight of your home temple.

Ornate Jaali Panels

The carved jaali panels on the sides of the mandir show the skill and beauty of traditional Indian woodwork. Each floral design is made with care to let light and air pass through easily while giving a beautiful background for the idols. These panels make the mandir look open and bright and add a peaceful feel to the pooja space. The even patterns on the jaali show fine work and give the temple a neat and balanced look. The teak color is smooth and has bought out the finer details of every curve and line. These are those panels which introduce the beauties and peace to the mandir. The design makes the temple rich and holy and makes it look timeless and graceful to adorn any house.

Elevated Central Pedestal

At the center of this pooja mandir is a raised platform made to keep the idol in a special and higher place. This part helps the deity stand out and become the main focus during pooja. The platform has neat carved designs that show fine work and devotion. Its elevated height makes it more visible and the temple looks to be well balanced and arranged. The mandir has a peaceful and heavenly look due to a smooth finish of its color with teak. The pedestal is designed in a very simple way that makes the pooja area clean and serene. It adds both beauty and use to the mandir and gives the idol a proper and respectful place. The strong build and detailed work make this part an important feature of the temple.

Intricately Carved Entry Gate

The pooja mandir has a beautifully carved front gate that gives it a rich traditional look. The floral designs on the gate represent purity and good devotion and give the entrance a special feeling. The gate can be easily opened, and there is easy entry into the pooja area and makes the design strong and stable. Below the gate the little steps will indicate the way to faith and peace. The teak color finish adds a warm and classic look to the temple. The fine carving shows the skill of the craftsman and adds charm to the full design. This wooden gate becomes the main highlight of the mandir and adds depth and grace to the pooja area. It makes the temple look complete and gives a pure and peaceful touch to your home.

It not only beautifies and brings prayers to your house, but it makes an exclusive prayer-meditation space.

A 2 to 3 ft wall or table mandir suits most apartment prayer corners. 4 ft and above wants a dedicated wall, so measure the alcove before you choose.

We carve only in seasoned solid Burma teak. It holds fine carving detail without chipping and stays true across Indian summers and monsoons.

Doors keep dust off the idols and suit kitchens and living rooms. An open sanctum suits a dedicated pooja room where the deities stay visible.

The north-east corner is traditionally preferred, with the deities facing west so you face east while praying.

Drawers hold wicks and daily items; a lower almirah takes the pooja box, spare oil and festival pieces. Most families find one drawer too few.

Dust with a soft dry cloth and re-oil once a year with ordinary teak oil. Keep camphor and burning wicks off the timber itself.
